Devajit is a former Marine Officer who quit his sea life to follow his passion for travel and love for his region. Wanting to contribute to the recognition of the region, this Adventure and Travel initiative is his brainchild.
He graduated from Glasgow College of Nautical Studies as an Officer of the Watch and spent a few years in Scotland. Whilst in Scotland, he made several treks across the Highlands and major parts of the Isles and Lochs.
Being a sea-faring officer who spent considerable amount of time in the wild seas across the world, he is certified in Medical First Aid, Personal Survival Skills, Advanced Skills

in Fire-fighting and a proficiency in Survival Crafts and
Rescue Boat Operations.
Having travelled the world, he always wanted to come back home, back to his roots and bring about a change in the field of adventure and travel in the region as it has just as much potential as the top travel destinations in the world. He has always followed his passion and will continue to do so keeping in mind, "Safety comes first".
Rabijit Bharadwaj
Rabijit is a Guwahati-born adventurer currently living in Cherrapunji, far from the crowds amidst nature. He is in fact an engineer who graduated with a Masters degree in Biotechnology.
His appetite for Travel and Adventure grew in his early twenties when he actually spent a major part of it in exploring various sections of the Lower Himalayas, mostly on his own. He spent months in little villages and hamlets of the Himalayan region becoming one with the locals. He has also gone on a few Rafting Expeditions apart from other outdoor activities.
With his happy-go-lucky attitude, he helps bring together
like-minded people creating a humongous network of those who share the same love for travel and quietude.
He is also an avid blogger/writer whose writing style focuses mostly on poetry, his love for football and music, thought provoking topics and on travel, history and culture of the north eastern region. His blog, It's Not Just Ink and the Stories page of this website showcases his writing prowess.
Ashley Lyngdoh
Ashley is an entrepreneur heading the 'Gardening and Landscaping Service in Meghalaya' group. He has been actively involved in organising "socially responsible" adventure activities, motorcycle expeditions and promoting Eco-tourism in the rural areas of North East India for the past decade.
With years of experience under his belt and immense knowledge of the rough terrain of the entire northeastern region, his motorcycle expeditions are the best in the region and involves exploration of rural areas only seen and heard of by a handful of people making him a powerhouse in this sector.
He has assisted in communication, management, transportation, logistics and scouting with activities for film and documentary houses like Fox Traveler (‘Life mein ek baar’), Lonely Planet, Condé Nast Traveller Magazine, Rock On 2, Discovery Channel and ‘Kalki’s Great Escape' for Fox Traveller all filmed in North East India.
Ash mostly focuses on and promotes rural tourism to help create local employment through home-stays, recreational activities, treks and motorcycle expeditions under a dedicated on road team. He is an exemplar of Eco and Rural Tourism thereby demonstrating his unparalleled devotion to nature and the region.
Shayan Gautam
Shayan is a photographer by passion and profession and an avid traveller at heart. Based out of Guwahati, Assam currently en-route to realising his dream of travelling this world while taking otherworldly pictures of it.
His passion for photography is no less than his passion for mountaineering. Born to a mountaineer father, there has always been a profound love for mountains and adventure since a very young age and eventually this led to him being a member of the Assam Mountaineering Association and mountaineering experiences across several states in the country.
